Immersion Weekend at USF
April 15, 2005

Terps and high school students have their own workshops but, what about the college students?

We want to improve our interpreting/signing skills too. University of South Florida has the solution. We are hosting an Immersion Weekend for college students. It is tentatively scheduled for April 15 and 16, 2005 at University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. We will be focusing our workshops on specialist topics such as medical and legal interpreting. The cost for the weekend will be $100 maybe less, the cheapest around. This includes as many workshops as your brain can handle, lunch on Friday and Saturday, and hands on experience with some of the best people in the biz. You will also be receiving some invaluable feedback from the present deaf consumers as well as an opportunity to meet students sharing the same feelings and frustrations. Cruise on over to Tampa and make the best investment in your education, yet.

For more information, to make any suggestions or to let us know what kind of workshops you are dieing to see, please contact: Brigette Kozlowski: noellers@hotmail.com or Kylie Nave: Butterfly2200@aol.com

Hope to see you there!

Sincerely,
Kylie Nave
