Voice Interpreting

(This workshop is limited to only current RID certified interpreters and
interpreters that hold a Florida Q.A. Level 3)
This two-day workshop will be LIMITED to 15 participants only.
Friday February 24, 2006 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturday February 25, 2006 8:30am to 5:00pm
Workshop Description: Interpreters often find voicing a daunting task. This workshop will enable interpreters to learn how to analyze and apply linguistic register while voicing for Deaf/Hard of Hearing consumers. This workshop will also enable participants to enhance their own voicing skills in different scenarios of voice interpreting. Different tips and scenarios will be discussed during the workshop.
ASL Services, Inc. is approved by the RID CMP to sponsor Continuing Education Activities. This program is offered for 1.0 CEU in the Content Area of Professional Studies and has an Instructional Level of Advanced.
Workshop Fee: $90.00 by January 31, 2006. $100.00 after January 31, 2006 (if space is available). Registrations are first come, first served. There will be a 1.5 hour lunch break on Saturday.
