Dr. Ramos is the author of Triumph of the Spirit: The DPN Chronicle which is being used by over 40 postsecondary programs in the country. He travels extensively spreading the DPN message that by working together as Partners, hearing and Deaf people can accomplish the impossible.
Focus of the Workshop: What lessons can be learned from the 1988 Deaf President Now movement and what lessons can be learned for relay operators to work more successfully with Deaf people, including those in the Hispanic Deaf Community?
