Conference scheduled for January 23-24, 2009 in Orlando. Presenters will be Robyn Dean, Charlene Crump, Melissa Watson and Dr. Maxine Minto. A registration form link can be found by clicking "Read More" below.
The workshops offered will provide the opportunity for advanced level training for interpreters who work in the mental health setting. On Saturday, a second track will be offered at an introductory to intermediate level for interpreters with an interest in mental health and the Demand-Control Schema.

Cost: $150.00 for both days (lunch included)
$85.00 for one day (lunch included)
CEUs: Attendees for full conference will be able to earn up to 1.25 RID CEUs. A beginning to intermediate workshop track will be held on Saturday January 24 for entry level interpreters and education interpreters interested in mental health.
Instruction level will be intermediate to advanced on Friday. One track on Saturday will be beginning to intermediate. The other will be intermediate to advanced.

o Interpreting in Mental Health Settings: A Practice Profession Approach
o Working with Difficult Clients
o What to Expect in Mental Health Settings
