House (Theatre) Open Times
Doors to the Bob Carr are open to patrons an hour and 1/2 prior to scheduled curtain times for our pre-show discussion. Food concessions and bars at the Bob Carr are open before the performance and during intermissions, as is the Orlando Opera Gift Shop. Seating for the performance begins approximately one half-hour before curtain time. Once the curtain goes up, the theater doors close and late guests are asked to wait in the lobby until intermission.
Please keep colognes/perfumes to a minimum for the sake of those with allergies. Taping (audio and video) and photography are strictly prohibited in the theater. Please turn off cell phones, pagers, and other electronic devices during performances.
If you are interested in a recommendation, we suggest dressy casual, business, cocktail or formal attire(especially on Opening Nights); most importantly please attend, and be comfortable.
